We want to give back something to the people of Lånke. We arrange historical trips and other things which could be interesting for many. On the trips we try to use guides who knows the history of the places we visit. We will announce these activities here too as well in the local newspaper.

Summer 2000: Historical trip from Ferjemannstuggu to Bilettholmen, Hellstranda and back  along the river. Coffee at Ferjemannstsuggu. Guide: Jan Hoås.

21.October at 13.00: Historical trip starting at Prix Hell towards the church, Huus, Trudvang, the school and back to Ferjemannstua for coffee. Guide: Jan Hoås. Some pictures.

16.November 2000 at 19.00: Causerie by Tor Erik Jenstad.  
Jenstad is the one in Norway who maybe knows most about the Trønderske dialects. He has a doctor's degree in the Norwegian language, has worked as a linguist since late 1980 and he has written several books. He is also well known from the radio program 'ka sa du ?'.
